Chapter Philanthropy and Service

Philanthropy fun facts:

Did you know that the ZTA NFL Think Pink program was started in October 1999 by the Northern Virginia Alumnae Chapter?  When the Service Chairman asked “what if we handed out pink ribbons at a Washington Commanders football game”, little did we know that a ZTA partnership with the NFL would be so strong 20 years later and involve 28 of the NFL football teams.

The campaign with the NFL has since grown to include support from every NFL team and is now part of the NFL's "A Crucial Catch" campaign.  Zeta Tau Alpha volunteers still distribute pink ribbons to fans at games, the football field may be decorated to include pink ribbons in the end zones and you will probably catch your favorite player or coach wearing pink or a pink ribbon on the sidelines.
